Had the pleasure of a wine tasting at Cherry Point. I remember this place from a past Island visit, and it wasn't all that impressive back then. I change of ownership has happened and let me say, for the better!
Cherry Point Estate Wines
The wine has an old world feel to it, a tribute to the Wine Maker, Xavier Bonilla! Was a pleasure having him talk us though the wines. Of note, the Pinot Gris, the Rose and the blackberry fortified were fantastic. The Blackberry was old world port like, with just a finish of Blackberry. Fantastic.
To top it off, Xavier is opening a bistro! I look forwards to my next visit!
